The mystical poetry of Federico García Lorca, the meditative Zen of the Ryoanji rock garden, and the antic timing of Jack Benny – all these lines converge in the Callithumpian Consort’s first concert this season!

Please join us to hear trombone virtuoso Christopher Moore battle the electronic elements in Jacob Druckman’s legendary Animus I and guest soprano Sophia Burgos in George Crumb’s masterpiece Ancient Voices of Children along with John Cage’s evocation of the famous Japanese rock garden Ryoanji and John Zorn’s Hockey, a virtuoso exercise in comic timing.

Monday, September 28, at 7:30 pm (NOTE NEW START TIME!)
New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall
